Keep Them in The Same Place Every Night 
The last thing you want to worry about while you’re rushing around getting ready for work in the morning is trying to remember where you put your hearing aids the night before. Keeping them in the same spot every night takes away that worry. Places like nightstands, sock drawers and jewelry boxes all fit the bill.
It’s also wise to keep a dry cloth or a cleaning brush in the same spot so that you don’t forget to wipe off your hearing aids after a long day of use.
Keep Them Dry
Hearing aids need to be kept in a cool, dry environment. One great option is to use hearing aid drying boxes. Drying boxes are small boxes that use air and heat to dry hearing aids. Most are made to be extremely portable, so you can use them to store your hearing aids when you travel for work or vacation.
There are also UV dry boxes which use UV light to sanitize your hearing aids and remove moisture. This helps to rid the device of bacteria and prevent any potential water damage which helps lengthen the life of your hearing aids. Just remember to remove the battery before placing your hearing aids in the box! If you don’t have a drying box, you can use a dehumidifier filled with desiccants to dry out your hearing aids.
If you don’t have either, and your hearing aids accidentally get wet or you spent the day in an extremely humid environment, a bag of dried rice can act as an overnight storage spot for your device. Something to keep in mind next time you’re at Food Lion!
